The problem
Beginner courses tend to stop at syntax, and algorithm courses assume you can already code. Python from zero walks the whole road, from a first print to LeetCode.
How it works
- Three tracks
- Python basics, then one lesson per algorithm pattern with about 45 real LeetCode problems, then projects like Game of Life, a Tic-Tac-Toe AI and a mini Git.
- Exercises that check themselves
- 129 exercises run real Python in the browser through Pyodide and get tested on the spot. Nothing to install at first.
- Analogy first
- Every idea opens with an everyday comparison before the technical word shows up.
- Spaced review
- Quiz questions come back as warm-ups, and sooner if you got them wrong.
- AI tutor
- “Explain my mistake” gives hints, not answers. Practice sets aim at your recent mistakes and get run before you see them.
- Tiny server
- About 1,500 lines of standard-library Python with SQLite. Optional Google sign-in carries your progress between devices.
